Retro soul artist Darling Nikki
Her debut EP is a 70s-inspired analog production blending soul, funk, and pop into a modern retro sound.
Coming from a musical family, Darling Nikki was supported from an early age and began working as a professional singer as a teenager, performing on international stages and recording in numerous studios.
She has appeared multiple times on TV , including ORF music show “Pixner’s Jam Session”, known for its high-level live performances. On stage, she has performed alongside legendary artists such as Dionne Warwick and Larry Graham, building her reputation as an emerging artist in the international soul scene.
With HIPPIE SOUL, Darling Nikki ( who chose her artist name from a Prince song ) steps into the role of songwriter and producer, shaping her sound with a clear artistic vision. Inspired by the warmth and depth of 1970s soul records, the EP was recorded entirely in analog format, featuring live horns and strings that give it a rich and authentic vintage feel.
Blending cinematic soundscapes, funky grooves, and emotional ballads, the project highlights her distinctive voice and strong musical identity. The debut single “Elvis” has already gained radio airplay and attracted attention from international media and music blogs.
